Oldsman'* thread got me curious. What do you guys do with your faceplates when you park your car? Both at home and away. At home, I leave mine in b/c I live far enough off the road. Anywhere else, I take it out.

I take it off when I'm in bad areas. Probably dumb...but...

At home...heck..it'* in the garage with the keys in it.

I leave it on, if they steal it, it gives me a reason to upgrade

Unless I am in a big city, I really dont care. heck I leave all my windows down and keys in the car at most houses I hang out at.

Heck...anyone want Pat'* car? keys are in it....sitting there for over a week.

you should strip his car....sure would be a shocker for him to come home to a bare frame.

Same here. Faceplate only comes off when I go into a city like Boston.

I leave mine on mostly all the time.

Mine comes off and goes right underneath my driver'* seat. My car'* apparently been "broken" into once already this year, but they never did find the faceplate.

I always take it off and keep it with me, in the house, or in my pocket if at a store. I also keep my keys with me even if I go somewhere in someone else'* car.

well in Boston they'll just take the car.
