I too know what it is like to lose a close friend. Every year, our school hosts a three on three basketball tournement. Last year, February 21, one of my good friends, Kyle, who I have known since the 3rd grade suffered of a heart arrhythmia and collapsed in the middle of the court while playing basketball. Thankfully, one of his teammates father was a doctor. The doctor gave him CPR and got him breathing again. For a while Kyle slipped in and out of a coma. This lasted for a few months until Kyle passed away in May. I still think about Kyle, and some of the times we have spent together. He had to be the nicest kid I ever knew, always smiling and making others smile.
So, just hang in there. You will soon be able to look back at the times you have spent together and laugh and remember him in a good way.
