I think I might put in my lan party machine I think that 12v oulet is not a bright idea. The last you should be doing is putting more load on your power supply, but maybe that is because I alwys run mine near max. I have 500w in my machine accrod to backup power supply the machine use 450 at start up and about420 ish normal opration

sounds like you need a bigger power supply.

for those of us who don't smoke it could be a good place to test electrical components after a junkyard run.
