Estimate my 1/4 time on my Bimmer.
Maybe you guys can help me out since there are alot of modded cars on here. I am gonna give full specs including gear ratios, HP, weight with me in the car and other specs. I'm not looking for a exact time, just a estimate.
Alrighty, the car is stock aside from the Bavarian Autosport chip that raises the HP to 181hp and Torque to 177. Redline is also raised to 6900rpm.
M20 2494cc SOHC belt-driven inline 6, 2 valves/cylinder, cast crankshaft
168 (now 181) hp @ 5800 RPM
164 (now 177) lb-ft torque @ 4300 RPM
Compression ratio: 8.8:1
Bore/stroke: 84x75 mm
5-speed Getrag 260 (manual)
Ratios:1 (1/2/3/4/5/R): 3.83 / 2.20 / 1.40 / 1.00 / 0.81 / 3.71
Final Drive - 3.73:1
Weight distribution, F/R: 53%/47%
Weight with me in the car - 3048 lbs (2811 without)
So any guesstimates?

You told me to estimate what your car will do, I did.

Let me launch it to get the best time; you'll probably have a hard time as you are with your stick driving techneques

I ran my bonnie with a K&N and a flowmaster muffler and still only ran mid 16'*. The car is rated at 16.1 from the factory, but (at the time) it was 12 years old and age isn't a cars friend
