Envoy Denali + Stuck accelerator = this. (PICS,56k friendly)
So a guy I work with was pulling a brand new SOLD 06 Envoy Denali into the shop and the accelerator stuck. This is the result. (I was behind the car while it happening going HOLY ****). Sorry, crappy phone pics but it'* all I had available to me.

On the upside, I did get to drive an 04 GTO about an hour before this happened.

GM Insurance to the rescue I suppose. Granted that would be a strange call to the owner...
"err sir, yes hi, this is GM service calling, we ahhh..crashed your new Envoy....and please note we are charging you time and labour for an apparent stuck accelator"

I posted in the wrong section because I wasn't logged in and just clicked the highest link. My apologies.
Hopefully the dealers insurance will pick up the tab. I'm going to have to talk to the insurance company tomorrow because I was a witness. You all should have seen the look on the ladies face who just bought the car. It was a total "Oh my god face."

How does the accel get stuck? Is this a common problem for the new Envoy? Was it the pedal? Throttle body? Drive by wire problem?
And how much will it cost?
