Yeah, i know you all hate these rants, but you know what, I think this one is pretty justified.
I have spent around 1500 bucks on this car trying to fix the damn thing up. Whenever I fix something, another thing breaks, over and over again. I fix the transmission, the maf sensor dies, I fix the maf sensor, the steering pump starts to break and steering shaft starts squeaking. The damn thing started this HORRIBLE sound like a LOUD high hum from time to time. I'm done, finished, end of story. WHY DO PEOPLE BUY THESE CARS!?!?!? I loved my Bonneville, it was a great car, but everyone wanted me to buy a newer car that was MORE RELIABLE! HOW IRONIC! THIS POS HAS COST ME MORE THAN THE BONNEVILLE WAS WORTH!!!. For you that have had luck with these cars, god bless you, and know that I envy you.

A rant is a rant, I can sympathize with how frustrated you are.
I hope the Honda Fits
Personally, I'm in your situation, where one thing breaks after another, but...in the long run, its cheaper then paying for another car. Either way, good luck with whatever you decide!

Pete...
remember that even Honda has problems. Much of how a car is later in life depends on how it was maintained and taken care of from the beginning.
Good luck with the Fit though...

No, I'm not getting a honda... I don't know why I said that. I can't even afford one
. Not to mention, they're just not me... I don't know, guys, I'm just at my wits end right now, so saying stupid things like that kinda helps me feel better, lol/
Petra, real sorry to hear, I can totally relate to your situation. There'* a car that'* been sitting for more years that you can believe and I've invested thousands into it. No it'* not a piece of junk, I bought it new many many years ago. Enough said this thread isn't about me.
Take a deep breath and chill for a bit, have a drink and relax, you can vent, rant all you want. We my friend are here for you and will never get tired of ya.
