The tag was a result of a members post I already edited. I am not in favor of flaming anyone, pointing fingers, etc. Tag is removed as well.

I just want have a Club where those that feel comfortable can be here and do so without interference. Your explanation of "Email is a great way to let people know about all their options" when done by members here is called "phishing". It is also within the realm/definition of Spam. It is clearly against our Forum rules. That Rule will not be arbitrated or tolerated

I think the issue here has been well discussed and enough opinions stated. I'm going to close the thread due to outside concerns that I am starting a flame war. Our only intention here was to warn our members that their trust and privacy were compromised by an outside source. We will do all we can to continue to protect that privacy.
