Default Electricity

Well I'm thinking about getting my own apartment...I was curious as to how much you guys spend on your electric bills. Anyone'* welcome to chime in, but I'm more interested in the people with 1 bedroom apartments around 500-600 sq ft.

Please list:
Total Sq Ft
Average Summer Amt
Average Winter Amt
Where do you live?

Thanks in advance!!!

abut 60 minimum, 80 max per month. and thats just electric, gas is additional.

Alot depends on what you have that uses electricity. Electric heat, Electric hot water, Electric Range, Electr Dryer... would use more. The only appliances that I have that uses electricity is the fridge, Microwave, and the washer. Heating your house with electricity would be alot more. You power company should be able to give you the avg bill for any place that your interested in to give you a ballpark.

Mine is approximately 645 sq ft.

I do not run the air conditioner nor the heater during the winter and usually run anywhere between $50-$75 during the winter.

During the summer, I average between $120-$170, depending on the amount I use the A/C and at what temp I have it set at.

I usually have computer, tv, various trivial electronics, movie projector, stereo system, and usual lights, etc.

Everything is electric here, no gas. Also, I'm with Reliant.

950 sq/ft
45 a month summer (with AC)
35 a month winter

Welcome to the NW where we have tons of hydroelectic power.

Not to mention the largest natuaral gas reserves worldwide. You don't want to know my gas bills.

I'm grateful for low utilities. But I also live in a VERY efficient duplex that is only 10 years old.

970 sq/ft electricity is usually between $60 and $90. Usually on the high side in the summer(this one anyways) due to the new air con install. Garage is only about $8 a month.
