The responses in this thread (so far) are indicating the exact opposite. Interesting.
I can't wait till this d*** election is over.
I agree 100%! The unfortunate thing is that I HIGHLY doubt that we'll see the end tonight. Gonna be a debacle of arguements for the next couple weeks!!

All I can say is that I'll be glad when it'* over and I hope it'* clear who the winner is.

I have my thoughts on candidates but will hold onto them as Canadians don't vote for US Presidents. That said though, I think the US suffers the same problem as Canada - very little to choose from in the way of leaders.

At the end of the day, having spent more than $500 million on advertising alone and perhaps as much as $750 million on the election, such an agonisingly long compaign is torture of the first order.

Makes you wonder if there wasn't something better to spend the money on????

I hope you all get out to vote

Cheers,

Were simply stating our choices. Were not ripping on Bush or cracking jokes. I respect people'* choices, and I hope to recieve the same respect in return.

I can't wait till this d*** election is over.
I'm with you-lets get this over with.

As for Jim W'* quoted statement above-I really, honestly find that it'* the opposite, at least where I live. Sure, every candidate has yard signs and such, but if there'* going to be a protest or otherwise vocal demonstration, it'* going to be Democratic. And I'm not really saying this as a bash type of deal, its just an observation.

I'm surprised this poll is heavily weighted like this. I'd expect a more even split.

On my way home from work today (just HAD to drive down Broadway in Alexandria) I decided to count how many people were standing along side the roads holding political signs. Counted 41 and I believe I only saw 2 conservative signs -both read "Vote Pro-Life".
They were either Democrat'*, Vote Pro-Life or names I couldn't connect to any party.

Regardless of my vote or party, I had to laugh when my cousin told me this joke.

Kerry'* breath smells so bad you look forward to his farts.
