Have you ever tried to edit one of your posts due to spelling and when you're in the edit function, the spelling is correct? You then don't make any changes and when in it'* on the forum the spelling is wrong again.

I use the edit function quite frequently as I have not installed the Badnit service pack yet and I have never noticed that before.
