Well my new puter has a DVD burner. And I own a PS2. I heard that you can use one to do some cool stuff for the other.
with the right chip or program or something.
Anybody have any ideas?

basically, to keep explaination simple... without getting really technically involved and soldeering in mod boards and disassembling the PS2 which is not fun at all...
you have to put a valid disc in the drive, this way the PS2 sees a legit disc is there and commences boot sequence, you then have to take out the disc and put in the burned disc WITHOUT using the eject button, because the eject button will essentially reset the drive and make the console search for a legit disc again.
again, very simplified theory, not technically accurate, but you get the idea

Sounds like a P I T A to me. I guess I'll just stick to buying older games when I can get them cheap enough.
Right now I am looking for need for speed most wanted. Looks like I can get it off eBay for $15 or less.
