How long does bacon need to be microwaved? I got one of those damn bacon cookers that you lay it on, but not sure how long to cook it. Package claims 1 minute, but I am NOT eating raw bacon. I think the microwave is a 1000 watt.

Can't fry bacon, stove is disconnected for kitchen floor being re-done. So microwave is the only way.

well then... most microwave directions are based on 800w so at 1000w you should be ok.

I love bacon no matter how it is cooked, but microwaved isn't as good
