In short, some Sony DVDs contain Digital Rights Management programming to limit how, when and if it can be copied. When you put one of the CDs that contains that in your drive, it will install a hidden program on your computer, without your knowledge. Also, they did a pretty lousy job of it, and now hackers are using the weaknesses in that program to gain access to unprotected computers.
