Dryer for sale, KC Area
Hey all -
Don't know if this violates forum protocol, mods please feel free to delete if so.
Also it'* late, or very early, and I've had a few beers, so please forgive any misspelling.
Anyway, after I introduced my washer to the 2X4, I'm a laundromat Joe now. So I'm getting rid of the dryer as well.
You could have it for $1, if the bidding works out right. But you have to pick it up, I'm not messing with shipping (I suppose I could be talked into it if you arranged for packaging and pickup). I paid ALOT for it 7 years ago, at least $900 if I remember right. Really stupid thing for me to do, but at the time I was making 6 figures, and I liked to spend it as fast as I made it. Don't even ask me what I paid for a plasma TV 7 years ago. But this is a common trait of a clinical manic-depressive.
It'* basicaly not any different from any other dryer made since 1960, except it'* electronic. Auto dry sensor, etc. The mechanics are the same.
One word of warning to my friends on this forum: This model is renowned for it'* eletronic component failures. These parts are only the touch panel and control board (AFAIK), but I replaced them both with factory new parts about a year ago, when they both failed. An appliane repair forum I frequent tells me they were both redesigned, and there should be no further problems.
Anyway, here it is:
