I have seen worse driveways than that but yeah those are tough.

What'* the point of this driveway? It looks like they should be in a warm state. What if the driveway freezes over?

There is no point to the driveway. It goes like this: developer buys cheap land, build large, but cheap houses. Contractor isn't given permission to deviate from plans. Contractor builds house.

The thing is, that house now has next to no value. The only way to fix that situation is to put in a basement garage, which is gonna mean tearing half the house down.

It looks like the slope of the driveway right next to that is lower. Is that the highest sloping driveway in the neighborhood?

Someone tell those people to back out of the deal! You still can.

Believe it or not, in Atlanta we lived in a house with a driveway almost just like that. The only difference was that the end was more rounded off so it didn't scrape, but it was around the same grade as that... Still, that'* pretty extreme...
