I'm the first one to beat down Dodge/Chrysler, but yes all car makers have problems, they also have good and bad vechicles.

I'm still wondering who the heck designed the Aztec and came up with that toilet water brown color.....

Yes thay all have their good and bad cars.... I am in no way a Dodge/Chrysler fan at all... I'll drive a ford before a Chrysler... But the 3.5 In the intrepid ( early on ) was a good motor... Had to go through H*** for the timming belts tho... It was an ok car, some even had the old 3.3, and they did hold up...

And the Aztec....OMG... I knew pontiac was FUBAR'ed at that point...
Hey Don, I thought all Intrepids had the 2.7, the new ones anyway. But a week or so ago I saw a newer body style Intrepid with a "3.5 Magnum" badge on the trunk. :?

I'd rather have a bad heater core then say, a failed manifold sending coolant into my engine'* oil. :?

3.5 is a far cry better then the 2.7. The Intrepid R/T has the high output 3.5 which was then put into the 300M.

All engines have their problems. Ever try working on a Northstar?

btw I love my Northstar even when/if it breaks. heh.
