There is no real sign this car was in an accident.
No major front end or rear end damage.
The side doors look like they are pushed in from a fork lift from carrying.
The Fire department buys up junk cars to do Jaws of life
dry runs.
and then places them around schools. Mostly around Prom times.
still sad to see her go

It was probably cut up by the fire department. We've done that in the past. I'm surprised you weren't out there grabbing parts. I see some badges, looks like a CD player, good wheels, etc...
Who steals the wheels off a junk car, I don't know, but still... thay're good.

Um, yeah. That'* a factory CD player. Those things go for quite a bit on ebay. I'd sneak around in the dark and borrow some parts from that one!

That looks like a regular cassette deck? Doesn't look like a CD player to me. I'll check in person tomorrow, the pics don't show it that great.
I suspect that this car might have been a fire dept. guinea pic also. The rocker panels aren't really bent up as one might expect in an 'accident' like this. The only thing I could thing of theoretically is rearending a tractor trailer, but that would be quite bloody...
the car was donated by a towing company, btw.

It'* not a CD player. That'* the top of the line Pontiac tape deck used through '91 with any higher end model that had the steering wheel controls.
And while the photos are quite sobering (no pun intended), I don't need a reminder to despise drinking and driving. I have no remorse for anyone that looses their life in such a manner. I only feel sorry for everyone else that gets hurt or killed due to them.
