i asked some other people around here about dogs getting sick and one lady said that she heard that some dogs were getting sick from some green dog bone that cleans their teeth and not from switching dog food. thats just what i was told thought you would like to know...

I left that choice out because nearly everyone knows someone with a dog and since I'm expecting the majority of pets to be healthy, that choice would just fill up the thread.

morty, i have a german shepard, pure bred, will be 13 in june(~21) and her overall health has been declining lately, not sure if it is all age inductive or not... i will get back to you about the food tonight, but she has grown even more tired/lazy lately and having more trouble going up stairs, eyesight and hearing are diminishing, i might be outside of your desired results becuase 13 is almost above average for life expectancy of a german shepard, but she is ine xcellent physical condition given her age, and without hip displature.

There was a recall on a certain brand of dog food recently. Dogs were dying from it. Sorry - I can't remember the brand.

I honestly don't think you're going to get anything out of this poll. There are million different variables. So many, that you could never make a judgement on what'* killing dogs.

My family'* dogs got a couple of those "bones" recently, but they made the dogs vomit. Needless to say, we took the bones away pretty fast.

My dog, Louie, is very healthy. We feed him Pedigree for older dogs. He is about 9 years old and full of vim & vigor. We give him a denta bone (bought at walmart) for cleaning his teeth. We live in Northeast, MS.
