Yes they do here in OHio...BUT only in the larger metro areas...Fortunately I am too close too the corn!!! NO inspections....

None that I know of in Illinois...haven't been pulled over for my gas guzzler/heavy duty polluty yet...

same as the plates... NO

In alberta if the vehicle is still under insurance(even if its not your own) when you buy it then you dont need an inspection. Usually if you dont pressure them to pass your insurance they wont inspect it anyway. After all that then you can do what ever you want... open headers, no headers they dont care...

Some counties of Washington do have inspections, Seattle(King County) and I think Spokane and Tacoma do. We don't here, they have been talking about it for years. Doesn't matter much, my Bonnie, Goat and everthing else would pass easy....Well maybe not my old pickup

NJ second worse state on emmisions than Cali, they chec everything. Emmisions done on the dyno Cant wait to move to GA

No emissions or inspections here, just like Justin a few miles away. However, Portland has been mulling over the idea of emissions, and I hear WA state has been considering it for the whole state. Watch out, Ken.
