I am a big fan of the second gen Camaro. No doubt some day one will become a project for me.

So I guess my answer to your question is: HeII yeah!

Very clean for the price. People better start jumping on these now before they start getting high priced like the 1st gens. Personally I'd love to have 77-78 Firebird or Trans Am all white with white accented rims.

My dad had one EXACT to this. He mistakenly sold it in 1990.

78 Formula

It'* true that the second gens are basically ignored for some reason, even while people are paying $12,000 for trashed 1st gens. The 2nd gen Camaro is a relative performance project bargain IMO.

For the money it is going to take to bring this car back I'd want it to be a z28.
I had a 81 hardtop z28, black 350 4 speed manual. Uber ugly bright silver interior.

Well of course!!! Everyone likes 69 better!!

Oh...you mean the '69 Camaro...

Well, that too.

I owned a '69 and it is the most favorite car I've owned, at least in my youth. However, they've gone through the roof of sensible project cars for all except the super-serious collectors and project people who have lots of available cash.

Isn't that considered a 3rd generation? Wasn't the 70-73 actually the 2nd Gen? I get very confused after the first generation...
