Lounge For casual talk about things unrelated to General Motors. In other words, off-topic stuff. And anything else that does not fit Section Description.

Do you use legit versions of Mircrosoft software?

Most of my progs are not quite on the up and up. The way I look at it, I'm helping them develop better, anti-pirate software, right? And as far as the developer/code writer stand point, that'* pretty much an hourly job isn't it? That means you get paid regardless. Last time I checked, you don't get royalties on all the copies of the software that get sold.

That depends. In my case I was the owner of a business and software was the product. Therefore, I would directly benefit from every unit sold. Granted much of what I did was custom, at the same time much of it was generic enough to be used by a lot of clients.

Go back and read your MSDN license agreement Software is for development purposes only, i.e. you can not use it for day-to-day stuff.

So guessing you are still 100% non-legit
