I found that the Long Life oil worked well in my truck. And besides the free oil change, rebate offer last summer, I received a free racing hat from them.

Tracey,
U.B used to have one of the best engineering schools in the country. I don't know if it still does but would be worth looking into espo considering the tuition savings. Most of the courses will be on the Amherst campus. Most of the professors were excellent..nvm, they're all probably retired by now. Now if he can take Critical Thinking (elective), taught by a one-armed prof named John something, its highly recommended! One of the best courses there and by a great teacher.

But RIT... has to make you proud too
Grats!!

I'm with you there, Popatim... but he thinks he can get a full scholarship through the Airforce ROTC ...he'* thinking of making the military his career. UoB doesn't offer the Airforce ROTC (so he says). But then again, he wouldn't need ROTC to pay for it if he chose UoB...

Chosing the military for a career is the utmost honorable choice, and I told him I'd back him 110%...providing he was going in for the right reason and not just for free tuition.

Well he right about that. RIT is one, Clarkson University, Syracuse University, Cornell, And RPI (Rensallear Polytechnical Institute) plus one more down NYC way.

ROTC isn't a bad idea either, theres also a monthy 'living expense' they also pay; an extra few hundred a month, on top of the tuition if he can get in.

Clarkson has grown alot since I went there. Back then we had 2 pizza shops, 4 bars, 1 grocery store, and a 1 screen theatre. That was pretty much the whole town. I had some good times but the ROTC program director then was a huge jerk and i ended up dropping it. Add in uncaring prof'*, unfriendly townies, and very few girls (almost none attractive, oh hell we had exactly one attractive girl in my freshman class) ... Well I transferred to my local community college the following year.
