No, not that I haven't been through hell and back (though I know others have been through worse) I wouldn't have wanted to hide from the hard times that have helped make me who I am and where I am.
Hindsight is 20/20, if I had avoided situations or changed the paths I've taken I might not have ended up where I am now with a pretty happy life (nothing'* perfect in this world) and more importantly, my lovely wife, and that'* something I would never want to chance missing.

This is one of those questions that when you look back on the trials you've been through you have the luxury of viewing them objectively. I can look back at a few situations and say... you know that wasn't as bad as I thought it was when I was experiencing it. However, if I had the "disappear for a defined amount of time" option available at that time... I probably would have used it.

Nope, never had to use that power..if it was true, theres only been one time when someone wanted me dead...lol, took THEM a few days to smarten up.
