not the L300 they have a engine out of a saab and the suspension from a opel( gm europe). which i know for sure cuz i replaced the right rear engine cradle bushing today and the part said opel on it.
but the engine in the saturn loves to rev really high and i would bet it will hold own with a bonne not win but not get it butt handed to it. if anyone has had the chance to drive one i bet they would agree. i did some "hard" driving today with out my wife and wow not a bad engine just a horrable car.
