I suspect that in the future we're all gonna look back and realize how worthless our DICs were.

Oh sure, there'll be the occasional squirt who still thinks his DIC is the tell all/end all, and continue to allow his ride to think with it'* DIC.

But it'* all fun and games until they get the shaft.

With the natural progression of technology, it won't be long now until something new pops up between the seats, and then it'll be time to pay the piper.

(Oh man, I'm losing it...)

That'* because your one of those rare species. Like Michelle Trachtenberg on Eurotrip. The guys couldn't figure out if she was a she or he because of her personality.

I asked my wife if I could. She asked why. I read the reasoning that was presented in Post #1 :

Kids got a good laugh out of it. Wife did too.

I didn't mention the part where some guy I only know from a forum on the Internet is the one asking me about my DIC.

I think the DIC is very useful actually.
It can tell you things like if it'* getting too hot & even warn you about a serous overheating issue, until potentially the hose may burst.
Interestingly enough, the DIC can be programmed to remember the last rider, and this is described as the Personal Choice DIC display.
