funny you should mention this. I'm having to purchase another modem for my folks, still on dialup. they go through maybe 2 modems a year. must get spikes on the line.

I was a die hard dialupper until Sep of last year. Everything had been OK until about 6 months before I ditched, got too slow and tired of people calling and breaking the connection.
The DSL was 14.95, dial up was 14.97 per month lol.
