I don't think this belongs in meets, but I was wondering if anyone was going to the Detroit North American International Auto Show? A group of my friends from school and I might be going out the weekend of the 14th-16th. Might be nice to meet some other members if they were going. Anyone else gone before? how is the show?

I will definitly be there. I always go with my dad.

My dad will be going to the black tie event too. I'll prob. be going to it with him because my mom doesn't want to go. JLAudioEclipse I'm sure is going too.

So this is a good show? What is the Black Tie event? forgive me cause my friends are planning the logistics. We are driving our selves and if things go good this week for my procurement department, this trip might be the maiden voyage of Airplane II Crossing my fingers on this one.

I live just outside Detroit. It'* just a 25 min drive to Cobo Hall.

Detroit ain't as bad as people make it sound.

I used to go to school in the Upper peninsula of michigan (GO WILDCATS). Whenever i told people where i was from there was a few typical reactions

-*slight step backwards (usually accompanied by a fearful look*
-Some detroit crack (either referring to guns or drugs)
-some compliment for surviving thus far


or some variation.... really... i wouldn't live anywhere else-- its the Motor City-- and i Love it....
