It was super awesome.

The movie is actually a remake of a Hong Kong movie that came out in 2002, Infernal Affairs. The original is just as good, if not even better.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338564/

I saw Infernal Affairs before The Departed, and the stories mimick each other pretty closely. This is one remake that actually does a good job. HAHAHAHAHAH Dignam (Mark Wahlberg)

For some reason I read "matinee" as "manatee" and was thinking.... WTF?

i must say, i am a HUGE Boondock Saints fan, and IMO, the movies are totally different, except that they both take place in Boston...
