Default DC TO AC inverter reccomdations

as the title states, I need DC TO AC inverter reccomdations...got a laptop and would like to be able to have power for trips longer than the battery life of a laptop.

i carry this little bugger in my car at all times... use it way more than you would ever think... have never hooked anything big up to it.. but it works great for charging stuff like my camera and phone

the plan is to hardwire it and mount it in the trunk, and then place plugs in hard to see spots up front.

One of our members has the invertor in his car, and a plug right below his HU. Pretty dang cool! Wish I remembered who it was.....

My suggestion would be to hardwire the thing under the center console where it meets the main console. For the people with the Bose sound system there is a small amp mounted there but if I recall, you don't have the amp and could mount it in that location.

I'm with Geoff on that one. You would have that space open. I like the trunk idea as well...long as running wires wouldn't reduce the juice too much.
