I almost made 100 bucks on a battery that I got from WalMart and did a warranty exchange on. Went back to the auto department, swapped out the dead battery for a good one, the guy back there marked up the receipt. Took the good battery and the receipt to customer service, stood in line forever (it was right before or after Xmas), and finally got to talk to the lady back there.
All she had to do was print us out an exchange receipt and send us on our way. Due to the hustle and bustle (read "other morons in line") she got confused and on top of the exchange receipt, tried to also give us our money back.
But, I am not the type of person to take advantage of a situation like that. I kindly explained to her that, as much as I would like and could use the money, I'd hate to think she'd have to explain, and probably replace, almost $100 shortage in her till.
