damn LQ1!!!!!!
Well this damn LQ1 TDC engine in my cutty convertible is already given me indigestion, 2 hours to do freakin plugs, probably gonna be another hour to do wires! Its got a cold start oil leak which stops after 2-3 minutes once the engine is warm. O boy I cant wait to see what other treats are around the corner. On the bright side the timing belt has been changed within 10K miles I swear if this engine becomes to much of a pain I may be forced to do a complete L67 motor swap; but I love the car so Im gonna deal with it.
Also I still have my 99 bonne and trying to give it a good home, I cant afford to insure both at this time, a few hundred dollars obo and take it away, but its gonna need to be towed/trailered whatever.

Something with the transmission, all I know is that it makes a loud whirring noise and the car doesnt move in any gear. Its got a shift kit and 3000 rpm stall converter in it.

Ooooo... the 3.4L twin cam. It is a fun motor with great topend but was prolly one of the least reliable engines GM has ever made. I'd say do the L67 swap, it will be cheaper in the long run.
