I agree, but I have heard some powerfull home systems that were crystal clear and audiophile grade. I think the guy had about 1500 watts, but it was a home theatre type thing with a drop down screen and a projector hanging from the ceiling. WOW was all I could say!!

I believe that the Preamp units are much better sounding as far as quality goes.

Nice. Where'd you get it from? And can you plug those into your TV/Computer? Need speakers for college next year, debating a HT in a box type thing or a shelf system.
