Yea, Iv'e enjoyed using the 706. It'* a nice all mode 100watt rig. Used it alot for 6mtr DX on a 3 element beam.
Even hit Florida from way up in NY on 144.200 USB using only a 5 element beam and 50 watts. I was shittin bricks that day. As soon as that one contact was completed, about 5 more stations started calling me.
