yeah, it'* a nice color, but I'll probably have it painted blue to match the color of the car (or at least what it'll be when I'm done with it)

That'* a good looking motor. Though, you'll need to find a B-O-P bellhousing transmission to go behind it...which usually mean an older 3-speed. (possibly a TMH200R4..I think those came in a B-O-P bellhousing)

Color...hmm...best would be Pontiac Engine Blue (baby blue metallic) or body match like you are thinking.

have already decided to do the Holly carb upgrade
if you REALLY plan to spend that much on an engine , i would go through butler performance. they specialize in pontiacs and are WELL KNOWN in the pontiac community for being one of THE BEST companies. heres a link to their site.
they did the engine for lance armstrongs gto on overhaulin
