Sold the car ages ago. Back in May I think?

Got a parking ticket from Seaside OR dated July 4th. I wasn't there. The Honda was. Buyer never registered it. I faxed in the signed bill of sale with the new owner'* signature on it. End of that story.

Went to the DMV shortly after that, and filed the sale with the DMV on the same day I ordered my ZLLA plates. Should have been the end of the story.

Got a registered letter from the OSP today:

There'* NO WAY they ran it through the DMV, or they'd know I'm not the registered owner. They had to have gone by the old title or something, or the DMV didn't file when I told them to.

It won't cost me anything to get out of this one again, just like the last one, but this is RIDICULOUS. I think I'll pay a personal visit to a certain fraternity here in town. I know where he lives.

His Daddy wasn't happy. Things are being taken care of.

Ummm....he'* out driving the old red Honda. Daddy sez he'* getting his college arse whipped red when he gets back.

He borrowed money to get the car out of impound with a slightly.........altered story.

It didn't say he was busted for all that, those are just the reasons a car can be impounded.
