Are these fast? It'* an auto, and the guy just had the engine and tranny rebuilt. He'* selling it for 4100, which seems a bit high for a '91 with 140k miles. I'm not really thinking about buying it now, but he says it'll probably be for sale for a while longer; he'* only had a couple people look at it and it'* been for sale for a while.

They are fast right off the line, but soon that performance diminishes, like after 30 mph.

And the ride is like crap. My wife has a 2001 stratus and gyod it sucks compared to our H'*.

It'll fit in between NA and SC Series II'* for the most part.

Some pros might be the fact that their 2 door coupes, sportier, etc. I would go for the TT model however. Later ones dont' have the crankwalk issues the earlier DSM cars have.

Even the StarQuests, the model line the 3000GT replaced, were faster IMO. Sadly, the 2.6 has little to no aftermarket for it, whereas the 3.0 has a$$loads.

Only thing I like about them is how they look and feel (ergonomics). But they got no guts at all.
