Soes anyone know if there is any additional charges in purchasing a Snap-On Tool Box in the US (myself) and bringing in back into Canada, other than taxes.

Thanks

The Tool Box I'm referring to cannot be put in the back of a trunk. it'* something that would have to be brought back on a Trailer, which I have therfore I would have to declare it.

Any more info would help.

Just take all the tags off of it, smear mud all over it, and say you've owned it for years.

I won't have any tools in it so they'll know I purchased it in the States. If I purchase it I'm going to declare it, I just want to know what to expect to pay for duty etc.

Well...not to be a party pooper..this is Canada you are entering. While I don't know what the costs or duties could possibly be. I'd suggest you bring the gold card.

All you should have to pay is the tax both fedral and provincial, there may also be an expiditing fee (paper work) but it shouldnt be too bad.
But you are allowed so much depending on how long you stay, up to $750.
So if you need to bring a buddy
