The picture in our newspaper looks like something straight out of a horror movie...I'll hafta see if it will scan or find it online.

This was about 8 miles or so from my house. My mom takes that route a few times a week for work, and it took her 3 hours to get home on the backroads instead of her normal 45 minutes to an hour.

The auto body teacher at my vocational school was in it, and was hit by 4 cars. He is wearing a neck brace but he'* ok. He'* not to mad about it though, because his truck is totalled and he'* been trying to sell it for about a year now. But it is definately a mess. One of the 2 deaths was a kid that goes to my little brothers school. Scary stuff. If I would've taken the freeway from school, I probably would've been in that mess.

It doesn't make me feel safe about driving. It was foggy as hell though yesterday, and on my way home from school, I could see about 30-40 ft. in front of me. This wreck happened right about at that time... I get out of the career center at 2:15, it takes about 10 minutes to get to that point on the freeway from there, and considering it would take me like 3-5 minutes to get to my car and out of the parking lot, that puts me there at 2:30...which is when it happened.

Excessive speed played key role in pileups on I-96

When will people learn??? Its foggy outside, roads arent that good, cant see that much ahead of yourself, why speed? Why not slow down so you can be alert if something is going on ahead? I just dont understand...

Denver drivers still speed when the roads are icey as hell. They think that since they are so used to the snow that they are invulnerable to an accident. Is there a video of this big pileup anywhere? And how do insurance companies figure out who is at fault in all of these accidents?

I has a friend that totalled his car in this accident! He walked away from it, he was just glad that it was his winter ride and not his slammed *-Dime.
