Default Crapillac Nightmare

Should be over.

For those of you following the nightmare in a Cadillac with the Northstar... it appears to be over.

Last night it went back together, fired up like it should and ran like a champ. Transmission had a new seal and didn't leak a drop. The test drive went well.

Prolly just jinxed it didn't I?

I love my NorthStar...

But I stand by the fact it is a throw away engine...

Good luck Bill

So, what are you going to do now with all of our free time?

Congrats on completing the project.

Good to hear that it is finally done. I am sure both you and Dan will be even more happy when the customer actually picks it up and drives away.

I think this is the one..

I spoke with Bill a little the other day, ANd this one was actually started B4 being pulled. So he may have found the one.

I think if it is treated properly it will last.

I'm surprised you didn't give up all hope on the N* and swap in a L67. Might have taken a little less time.
