Default A couple of ideas...

OK, I had a few ideas for Bonneville Fest, or any gathering that'* BC based.

1) To have clip-on badges with your username, a pic of your car (if applicable) and maybe your first name or a nickname. That might help us recognize eachother and stray out of any cliques that might have developed.

2) I have this wacky T-shirt idea that I'd be willing to 'donate' to help fund the gathering. It would basically be a side view of a Bonneville that sort of visually 'morphs' from being one of the classic old Bonnies into a new Bonnie. The tail end would look the oldest and the front end would look the newest...in between it would slowly and smoothly blend...and under it would be the word "Bonnevolution". Do you know sorta what I mean? I'm explaining this is a confusing way. I'm an artist, and I have mad Photoshop skillz to make it with. I'd have no problem doing this myself.

If someone were willing to help provide me with reference pics, I can begin working on it. And like I said, I'd be willing to donate the image for BC'* use to fund gatherings, website maintenance, and reduce cost for people. And we could all have cool T-shirts!!!

...On the back we could have BonnevilleFest 2004 or something.

Anyway, let me know what you think...

And P.*.: I *MIGHT* be able to come to the B-ville Fest this year!!! *waves to Jim*

Any years in which there was a major change in body design

Like when the 92-99'* were changed into the 00+'*

I'd prefer to have the tail end be of a '60ish Bonneville, if possible.

Your t-shirt idea sounds fun. It might add interest if you fade colors together in a creative way, while you're fading the actual pictures of vehicles together...I'm talented to a certain degree when it comes to drawing and painting, but I have almost no background in computer-generated art programs, so I have very little idea of what would be involved for you to do this. I like the idea of the '60s back end fading to a brand-new front end. Were you going to use the actual photos, or were you going to make your own artwork based on the photos and go from there to morph it all together?

*pokepoke*-you should also go hit people up in the classics secion for a start

I'm thinking it'll all be a silver/grey car, since that'* a pretty neutral color and one that'* easy to work with!! It'll also be pretty smoothly blended, or as much as I possibly can, anyway...basically going from boxy and older to rounded and newer...might be difficult, and I can forsee having to 'fudge' some parts of it.

And I'd be doing my own computer artwork for it, but using photos for reference. As much as I love Bonnevilles, I just can't seem to get a photographic memory of what they all look like, lol.

Thanks y'all, for the input

And in honor of Christine, I think I'll use the Chestnut Mare as a reference when it comes time to do the early-80'* section of the car.
