Well, I had no problem at the border.
I'm sitting at home now sipping my Patron and chasing it down with some REAL beer.
No questions or strip searches. :P
I was only about 4 x my limit.
I didn't even have to leave the wine with DriverJohn but it was a pleasure after all his hospitality and a great T-bone steak.
I can hardly wait till my next trip down. The exchange rate just keeps getting better.

thanks for the wine!!! I'm sorry, I totally forgot in the morning! You're welcome anytime!
I haven't tried the Fat B a * t a r d but the Robert Mondavi is good. Both should be dry, not sweet.
I'll be bringing some more Whine down with me next summer.

How many times did you hit snooze after the 4:30 am wake up alarm :?:
Hope you're enjoying it.........and don't give any more to Bo or I'll feed him more hot dogs next summer.

Ok, so hold on a second. If you come down here, your only allowed to take a certain amount of things back with you, otherwise you have to pay? I'm asking because I've never been to Canada and I'm confused

I don't know the rules for Americans who come here but for Canadians who go down to the USA, we are allowed $50 tax and duty free (per person) if there for 24 hours, $200 tax and duty free if there for 48 hours and $750 tax and duty free if there for 7 days or more (per person).
If Canadians go across the border, we are only allowed to bring one case of beer and not more than $10,000 in cash.
