Computer Problems
What about a memeory module about to go bad? Take one out start it up see if any difference. if not, then put it back in take the next one out and test again. Maybe try another memory chip. I believe this has happened ot me at one point or another.

yeah, but theres still a problem.
it won't let me DOWNGRADE the version of the drivers!!!! so what the heck do i do? the new drivers are causing the problem...unless the OS just needs to be reinstalled over those new drivers so it can adapt, other than that....

go to the "system" link in the Control Panel.
Delete the drivers and put the disk in the CD.
Restart.
The OS should detect that drivers are missing and them find them on the CD.
You can also do this through with the OS running, but sometimes it can hang up and then you HAVE to reinstall the OS
