I am in need of a new computer and I have found the TX1000 series from HP to be th one that fits all my needs and wants. I am just looking for any first hand knowledge if there is any floating on this forum if not what have you heard. Is it a good bad or ugly setup. the specs on the one I am looking at are
2.0 AMD Turion 64x2
2 GB of ram
120GB HD 5400RPM
12.1 screen
touch screen
Vista home premium
webcam/microphone built in
It is also convertable to a tablet by flipping the screen on top of the key pad.

This computer would be for real time tuning as well as the other stuff I use
any input is appreciated

Sounds perfect. Good amount of ram, excellent processor, nice sized HDD. I say go for it.

Screen sounds kinda small to me, but my eyes are going....

You gotta get what fits your needs, though. HP is a decent brand now.

well i chose it that small I need something that is portable and not overly bulky. the touch screen is the thing that I really like
