John, I agree you have to blame the user, not the OS, I was just stating that I have heard of difficulties with Vista
In my case, I know the problem is I don't know what the h*ll I am doing.

Didn't work
when I tired
I got errors on both computers saying it couldn't find the other one.
when I tired
On 192.168.1.2
Click on Start, Run.
Type in \\192.168.1.3
You'll get Sam'* shared goods.
On 192.168.1.3
Click on Start, Run.
Type in \\192.168.1.2
You'll get Bob'* shared goods.
Click on Start, Run.
Type in \\192.168.1.3
You'll get Sam'* shared goods.
On 192.168.1.3
Click on Start, Run.
Type in \\192.168.1.2
You'll get Bob'* shared goods.
