Computer guys, HELP!!! (please?)
I have a REALLY messed up laptop that i need to format. it has forgotten it has anything on it, even DOS. So, can anyone supply me with a version of DOS i can put on a CD and boot this lappy from that disc so i can format the hard disc in it?

I beleve all versions of windows since 98 are bootable. With XP you'
ll want the recovery console and with 98se you'll need to exit the batch file (break key) and then run format off the ramdrive.
Or you could use the computer you are on to create a boot cd. Easycd creator and nero both have utilities built in to do this.
