Welp, as some of you know, I got a ticket the past month. Just went to court and tried to extend my due date, but even though the judge only gave me a month, he said I had the option to substitute community service . So, now I have to work 18 hours at Goodwill. Heck, frankly I'm excited. I used to do this kinda stuff all the time, and now I'm doing it to pay off a speeding ticket . So yeah, I'm happy . Kinda makes up for my bleak Valentine'* Day yesterday...

So yeah, moral of the story, if ya got a speeding ticket, go to court and ask for community service. It'll save ya some mod money
(even though more mods will probably mean more speeding tickets ....)

I have had 10 hours before for shooting a BB gun within city limits when I was in 8th grade. It was actually pretty fun, considering how little of time I got.

Congrats m8, good news always helps the soul.

Although i would like to ask you a quick question. Just recently here in Toronto if you are caught doing over 50 Kmph you get charged with street racing, your license is suspended and your vehicle taken away to be crushed.

My question is do these rules apply in the states? Or if not something of similarity?

I am just curious.

I don't think so...

I only got a 13 over this time, the worst I've ever gotten was 26 over, so I guess I wouldn't know. But I've never heard of such a thing...

I only asked this because about two months ago their was a story in the paper of some dude who came over from the states and was ripping around in his new Black on Black corvette, he was apparently going 160-200. Anyway in the end they crushed his car.

They crushed his car to make an example of him. They will take your car away for a period of time, and leave you and your passengers stranded on the side of the road.

Here is an article that elaborates on this new law.

Pete:
Glad to hear you are going into the CS with an open mind. I hope this makes you want to volunteer more in your community. It is rewarding and makes you fell good about yourself. Also it drives home the point that you can make a difference.

Just another reason why you are a great guy and well liked.
