Yeah, silver does hide dirt and scratches. With white you can never really tell when its TOTALLY clean unless you REALLY look at it. With Black you could tell if its dirty if you're blind in one ear and can't hear out the other. The green is kinda sporty and cool, not to mention somewhat rare. And the midnight blue is somewhat like the black, pretty, no in fact, BEAUTIFUL, but shows dirt... I would say silver would be my favorite, but I mean, a silver Pontiac ANYTHING is so COMMON, i mean the whole dang pontiac line, in one way or another has come in galaxy silver metallic.

These are really interesting results. I was not expecting black to get that kinda turn out.

You know something tho. I know quite a few people here have black cars...how many people'* cars have a weird black/brown paint? I think it was grimm who just got a mismatched hood because of it? I am just wondering how common that is. Is that brown/black the normal GM black? or is the color of his repainted hood, the normal black. They seem to have totally different depths.

Yep it was me. The body shop manager said he'* seen it before as well. And when I had taken my car for the day to evaluate it before I bought it I noticed, so I found a 2004 SE at a nearby dealer and checked it out and found the same brown tint to it in the sun. The body shop manager actually alluded to a quality problem at GM because while he said he'* seen it before, he made it sound like it'* not a common occurance. The repainted hood was definitely more black than the rest of the car. But you have to see the car either under bright light like a halogen lamp or full sun to see the brown.

I've never seen another green SSEi so I was very happy to get this one. The picture really doesn't do it justice. Under lights she has a hint of gold metallic
