Default Color Laser Printer

My all in one Canon, ink jet printer just may be on its last legs. For some reason it keep having a problem with windows XP and the cartridge jams up every one in a while.

Question:
Can anyone recommend a good name brand Model # Laser Printer/Scanner either new or refurbished that won't cost me an arm and a leg? I was thinking Brother, HP, Canon etc. I want to stay laser since I feel the cost per page is actually cheaper in the long run with laser. I want to know what a good one will cost in case I can't get this one up and running. EBay may be my best choice, although shipping may be a problem due to weight.

Thanks

Thanks for the link Wil, I really like the HP Color LaserJet 2840 All-In-One, but unfortunately I'll have to sell the Bonne in order to buy it. don't know if I could sell my baby. Gonna half to put some deep thought into this.

If money were no object I would say buy the xerox color laser phaser series. I've been an hp guy from way back but when you see the images on the phaser printers (which were originally techtronics) they are awesome.

Now because money is an object Minolta makes the magicolor laser printers which are nice also. http://printer.konicaminolta.com/pro...500W/index.asp

When my 4 year old one started wanting a print head and even more color cartridges..I dumped it on Badnit and picked up an HP 3210XI..

Overall, it'* awesome. Only complaint I have so far is it doesn't come with more photopaper.

Go with a HP. I bought a $29.99 HP Deskjet 3915, and it'* a great printer. Never had a problem with HPs. Every Lexmark, Epson and Canon I had, was nothing but trouble.

Go with Brother, I have a Brother MFC-210c that is one year old and I have not had a single issue with it. Every time an issue has occurred, it has been because of my own error.

Here are some models under $150

He changed his original topic from Laser to Inkjet. Time to shift gears, guys.

HP for the inkjet. Hands down. hp owns the US and world market for a reason.
