Default Chrysler TC Maserati

At my job, we have a couple of warehouses sitting empty except for one tenant that'* using his as a boat/auto storage facility.

In the big bay, he has what I that was something like a Chrysler Lebaron, early model. Say late 1980'*. But upon further inspection, it beared different logos. I should have shot a picture but I forgot to.

1st digit of the VIN number was Z.

Here'* the Wiki.

I have never seen one of these cars before. I wonder why? Only 7300 of these cars were ever made. And I got to see one in person!

I remember them. It really wasn't any different than the LeBaron, TC3, or Dynasty. Financial failure for both companies. They should have built a unique car, not taken a model already overdone by all 3 arms of Chrysler. Then to go to the expense of replicating US parts across Europe and then import something already here for much less money. This class of car doesn't get it'* due though. Alot of these comparable models (Shelby'* and others) can go 10 seconds at the track with turbo'ed 4 bangers with minimal alterations.
