How about the pontiac 400
I was thining, a pushrod, carb'd 400 (FI is ok too i guess) RWD bonnie for the next one. Low, turns, and is nice inside. Based on the full H body platform. Sure you can make it modern and all, but a carb'd pushrod that'* update, and kicks the crap outta that german/hemi conglomeration.
